@^@f04@t6@cThe MIRAGE PRIME '91 Party
@f00@t7@c By FACET of ANARCHY@f00
@t5I,Crackerjack,Fresh,Ramon B5,Zully and
many more checked in a just arrived
train and drove to Hengelo.. When we
arrived at the trainstation in Zutphen
we mixed with TSM and his friend..
When we came in Hengelo (party place)
The ten of us we all knew the way...
Was it left .. or was it to the
right... After some arguings TSM
found a party invitaion+map. We went
to the right and walked.. and
walked...When we were in a situation
that we weren't sure we walked the
right way we spotted a little mark..
We followed that mark and found the
partyplace.. There were 20 guys
@^
waiting outside..And I,Tsm and Zully
went inside and said "HI!" to all
Mirage feaks.. Then Slash showed me
his new demo and I thought it was very
cool. Then I fixed the audio
connection which was broken on two
different places... After twenty
minutes the place was filled with
sweet and clear music.. The
organizators opened the magic gate
around 11:30:12... Some guys
installed their amiga's and loaded
X-Copy while they were lookin' for hot
stuff... How later it became the more
arrived... In a few hours the place
was filled with 100-150 freaks all
@#@^@t5
walking and talking about their lives.
Around lunchtime we went to the local
supermarket where we bought rubber
jumping balls for the price of
HFL.0,25.. After that, we went to the
snackbar where they didn't expect us..
When we discovered that it was 12:00
we ran back to the partyplace...
why?.. well Stingray and Timelord
were suposed to come at that time and
we didn't want to miss them... Too
bad they weren't there at 12:00.. We
went in and I saw allmost all demos
which were competiting in the democomp
Just because I was allowed to see them
from the organizators... After that I
made my own winners list.. I said
that Axis or Coma would win.. Desire
would come second and Vision third...
The real results will come later..
Well.. Then when we got a real hungry
@^
feeling we went outside where I saw
Timelord and Stingray.. We went to
the same snackbar where we got some
food.. Never knew that eating was
that much fun... Well.. after that
we went back to the Prime party.. I
met some old and new friends and how
later it became how more guys I met...
Then the big arrived... The demo
comp!.. They first showed everything
and then discussed it in the group!...
The result was:
@t4First "Unknown Territory" from Axis@t5
A really smooth trackmo with about ten
parts.. The music is really stunning
and gfx are nice too.. The coding in
this winning trackmo is one of the
best a Dutch coder ever released..
I'm not saying all this positive talk
@#@^@t5
just because I know Crackerjack ,
Fresh and Jayce but I really like the
trackmo.
@t4Second price(FL 200,00)
"Hot dots" from Coma@t5
Also a very cool demo.. the graphics
are old so they were a negative aspect
of the demo. Further contains this
demo very cool and new routines.. If
this demo would win I wouldn't
complain. The music in this demo is
nice.
@t4Third price (FL 100,00)
"Intro?" from TRSI@t5
Intro? I thought it was a democomp?
Well I really do not understand why
this intro won. The intro was based
on one routine. A transforming
@^
vector with copperthings in it. I
personally thought this intro wasn't
worth it to win the third price. But
I maybe have an other taste the
organizers have. On the first sight
it looked very cool but it didn't
stayed that way. After one minute I
was "sleeping". I personally espected
Desire's trackmo at this place but who
cares anyway. After the
democompetition some left and some
stayed. I, Fresh and Hein Design went
in-town to buy books. I have added
one book on my poor collection . The
book is called "Sexy Dreams" and is
full with girls. aaahh... Well.. At
the end of this I wan't to say that
this party was really great. It
sattisfied me and I think everybody
was happy with it. One thing is sure.
On this party you could see the best
@#@^@t5
productions ever released on a Dutch
party. The skill of the productions
were so high because the prize money
was the highest ever on a Dutch party.
As you can read.. I liked the
party... Not because of the
organisation or demo-comp but just
because I made some new friends and
made friends with two enemies...
Huh?.. Facet and enemies?...
Naaahh... Well .. remember the two
MIRAGE dudes who left me in Norway?
Yep.. Darkman and Protec... We
talked it out and they apologised...
It was just a misunderstanding I
supose... Well...
